Update on Aubie |
I got Aubie back from the vet on Sunday afternoon. So far he seems to be improving… although the vets were not that hopeful he’d make it. On Saturday I will take him back for some blood work to see if he’s really improving, but his attitude is definitely much better… and he’s only thrown up once this week. Anyway, I’ve been working from home this week, so I could feed and keep an eye on him. But taking care of him is turning up to be a full time job. I have to feed him 6 times per day. Each feeding takes about an hour. Do the math! Here’s a quick video about what I’ve been doing every 4 hours. And he’ll have to be with the feeding tube for at least a month… I’m telling you, I’m paying for all of my sins! Oh, his vet bill so far: $3,300 american dollars. Ouch! |
