I got my MOO cards… Well half of them… |
A couple of weeks ago I ordered some MOO business cards for YowTRIP. MOO is a London-based printing company, that you can print different pictures on the back of each of your business cards. The paper is finally what I had been looking for and could not find anywhere.
Their slogan is “We love to print” and I couldn’t agree more. Even though I emailed them within five minutes of placing my order, they could NOT cancel the order, NOR correct the logo. They printed it anyway and mailed it to me. Here’s what I got today: Â
So, they gave me a coupon to re-order new cards. I spent hours today choosing some different photos and going through the process of uploading them… and I still get the same problem. I didn’t place the order this time, but I guess I should have… to see if they would print and ship them again! I sent them an email and I’m going to wait to see what they say before I cancel my order and ask for a refund. |
So, I selected 50 of my favorite pictures, took the time to write “Where will you go next?” somewhere in the picture in all of them and started building my cards on MOO’s website. When it came time to upload the logo, it didn’t quite display it correctly, so I decided to place the order anyway and send them an email asking them to double check it to make sure it was correct.
And here’s how the logo showed up on MOO’s website:Â
It comes in a cool business cards box that says that my “MOO Business Cards are printed and hand-packed in London, England.” I can’t help but to ask: Who are these people hand-packing these cards? I can’t believe nowhere in the process nobody took a look a these cards and thought they would be useless to me… My LOGO was cut in half! And this could NOT be stopped NOWHERE in the process, even tough they knew about it within five minutes of the order… And I find in amusing that the cards were hand-packed and whoever did it decided to ship them across the Ocean anyway!
