Update from the Bay Area |
Today, I went to the Boot Camp for Canadian Startups, organized by the Consulate of Canada, at the Hilton Santa Clara. We had a very informative session about what the Silicon Valley investors are looking for on a pitch. So, in the afternoon we got to pitch our startups to a panel of 3 investors and get questions and feedback. After that, we went to the reception of the Plug and Play Expo in Sunnyvale. Tomorrow, we’ll be visiting Google’s HQ and then go to the Plug and Play Expo, where each of the 25 Canadian Startups will have a table to demo their product. We’re also going to be pitching our startups for 2 minutes and if the investors want to learn more about what each of us are doing, they will call us for a 10 minutes presentation… Very exciting. I’ll share more info tomorrow! |
