This will give you a quick overview about who I am and what I do.
I'm a software engineer, entrepreneur. I have more ideas than I have time to work on. I'm from Salvador, Brazil and live in Montreal, Canada now.

Here's some quick info about where I've been and what I've done:
In 2001 I moved to the US to study Software Engineering at Auburn University. While still in school, in 2004 I started I-stats.
In 2005 I moved to Culumbia (South Carolina) for a job and started a web design company on the side, eWeb Productions. It didn't last long, due to a mistake in my immigration paperwork filing, I had to take an eight months vacation... So I came to Trois-Rivieres (Quebec) to study French.

After three months in Canada, I traveled in Europe and spent some time in Lyon (France) studying more French. Then I spent a couple of months at home (Brazil) before returning to the US.

In October 2006 I moved to Sacramento (California). In 2007 I started YowTRIP and I decided that I wanted to work on it full-time. However while in the US I had to have a full-time job to keep my immigration status current, so I decided to apply for Canadian immigration.

In 2008 I visited Boulder (Colorado) to demo YowTRIP at a tech event and ended up getting a job offer. I moved there while I waited for the Canadian immigration paperwork to go through.

In September 2008 I moved to the best city I had ever visited: Montreal (Canada). As soon as I arrived, I started the Montreal NewTech Meetup group, so I would get involved with the local tech community.
After a few months working on YowTRIP, I decided to experiment with other ideas and developed 13 Twitter-based applications in 2009: Twtapps.
Also towards the end of the year, I joined a friend to work on 63 Squares, a development/marketing collective.
So, it's 2010! As always a lot of ideas on my notebook. Just need some time to start going through them all. Stay tuned.
The best place to get updates about what's going on is on Twitter. Be sure to follow me (@twtfelipe) and my projects: @twtapps, @mtlnewtech, @63squares, @yowtrip, @i_stats.
